What data we process

• What you enter in the contact form: name, email, company (optional) and message, plus the date and time of submission and a record of your consent.
• Whatever you include if you email us directly.
• Technical data the server logs when you visit the site, such as your IP address and the date of the visit.

Your name, email and message are needed to reply to you. Without them we cannot handle your enquiry.

Purpose and legal basis

• To reply to your message and follow up on your enquiry. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time without affecting processing carried out before.
• To keep the website secure and working, using the server logs. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• If your enquiry leads to a contract, to prepare and perform that contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and to meet our legal obligations, such as tax and accounting ones (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).

We do not use your data to send you advertising, to build profiles or to make automated decisions about you.

How long we keep it

Messages and contact details are kept in our mailbox for up to twelve months from the last contact and are then deleted. If your enquiry leads to a contract, they are kept for as long as the relationship lasts and, after that, for the periods the law requires. The system that receives the form does not keep the content of submissions. Resend keeps the delivery data for 30 days. The server’s technical logs, which may include your IP address, are deleted after 30 days at most.

Who else has access

We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law. To provide the service we use these providers, which process data on Katonidas’s behalf:

• Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany): hosting of the website and of the system that receives the form, on servers located in Finland (European Union).
• Resend, Inc. (United States): delivery of the form message to our mailbox. The transfer is based on the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795), in which Resend participates, and also on the Commission’s standard contractual clauses included in its data processing agreement. You can ask us for a copy of those clauses by writing to contacto@katonidas.com.
• MXroute (United States): hosting of our mailbox, which receives the form messages and any emails you send us directly. This involves a transfer of data to the United States. This provider is not covered by a European Commission adequacy decision and does not offer us standard contractual clauses or other appropriate safeguards for that transfer.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to contacto@katonidas.com and stating which right you wish to exercise.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Cookies

This website does not set analytics or advertising cookies, nor does it load third-party resources that set them. That is why it does not show a cookie notice.
